For International Clients
Getting Tattooed in Poland: Is the Trip Worth It?
For large realistic projects and cover-ups: yes. The price level is lower than in Western Europe, studios work to the same EU standards, and Wrocław is directly reachable by train, car or plane. Many of my clients travel from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond — this page covers everything you need for the decision.

Why clients travel to Poland
The most common reason is the quality-to-price ratio on large-scale work. A realistic sleeve, a back piece or a complex cover-up means many sessions — and that is where Poland's overall lower price level makes a real difference. The second reason is specialization: someone looking for a technically difficult cover-up or photorealistic work searches for the right artist, not the nearest studio.
I deliberately quote no prices — here or in chat. Every project is calculated individually after I have seen your idea, the body area and the scope. You get an honest number, not a teaser rate.
Hygiene: the same EU standards
Poland is an EU member — professional studios follow the same European hygiene standards as anywhere in Western Europe: sterile single-use needles and cartridges, disposable materials, disinfected surfaces. I work at Pszenica.tattoo in Wrocław (ul. Tęczowa 57) and as a guest artist at established studios in Germany and Austria — the working standard is identical at every location.
How booking works from abroad
- 01 Message on WhatsApp — idea, reference photos, body placement, rough size and preferred timeframe.
- 02 Assessment & date — you get an honest reply on feasibility, scope and dates. Plan 1–2 months ahead; complex cover-ups and large projects rather 4–8 weeks.
- 03 Deposit — reserves your slot and is deducted from the total. Full terms under Deposit Terms.
- 04 Session & aftercare — the design is tailored to your anatomy and refined together. After the session you get a detailed aftercare guide and WhatsApp support — even once you are back home.
Getting to Wrocław
- ✦ By train: direct trains connect Berlin with Wrocław several times a day, arriving at Wrocław Główny (main station).
- ✦ By car: the A4 motorway leads directly to Wrocław from the German border (Dresden/Görlitz direction).
- ✦ By plane: Wrocław Airport (WRO) is about 20 minutes from the center.
- ✦ Accommodation: the studio is central — staying in the center is the practical choice for full-day sessions. For a large project plan 2–3 nights.
Alternative: guest spots in Germany and Austria
If you would rather not travel to Poland: I regularly work as a guest artist at Electric07 Tattoo in Grasellenbach (Hesse, Germany) and Dark River Tattoo in Mayrhofen (Tyrol, Austria). Current dates and open slots are on the guest spots & dates page.
FAQ — tattoo in Poland
Is it worth traveling to Poland for a tattoo? +
For large projects — realistic sleeves, back pieces, complex cover-ups — yes. The general price level in Poland is lower than in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, professional studios work to the same EU standards, and Wrocław is directly reachable by train, car or plane. Many of my clients travel exactly for this. For a single small piece the trip rarely pays off — I only work in full-day sessions anyway.
How much does a tattoo in Poland cost compared to Western Europe? +
I deliberately have no fixed price list — every project is quoted individually after I see the idea, size, placement and complexity. In general, the overall price level in Poland is lower than in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, which matters most on multi-day large-scale work. You get the exact quote in a personal consultation after your enquiry.
Are hygiene standards in Polish studios comparable to Western Europe? +
Yes. Poland is an EU member — professional studios follow the same European hygiene standards: single-use needles and cartridges, disposable materials, disinfected work surfaces. I work at Pszenica.tattoo in Wrocław and at established partner studios in Germany and Austria — the working standard is the same everywhere.
How do I book from abroad? +
Message me on WhatsApp with: (1) your idea or description, (2) reference photos, (3) body placement and rough size, (4) preferred timeframe. You get an honest assessment and a date proposal. A deposit reserves your slot and is deducted from the total — the full terms are on the Deposit Terms page. Plan 1–2 months ahead; for complex cover-ups and large projects rather 4–8 weeks.
What if healing questions come up after I travel home? +
You get a detailed aftercare guide after the session (also published on this website), and you can reach me on WhatsApp with any healing question. The Second Skin system I work with is practical for travelers: the film stays on for 5–7 days and protects the fresh tattoo on the trip home.
Can a large project be done on consecutive days? +
Yes — for traveling clients I plan large work as multi-day blocks where possible, often two days in a row. A session runs a minimum of 6 hours; a full sleeve totals roughly 8–12 sessions depending on complexity and detail. That way you get the maximum out of one trip.
